I've been working on any type of warcraft map for a while now and things just aren't working out...
I'm going to.... write down what I need to do.
1) Heroes
2) Create the COmbonation system (2 units combine to create a new unit. This removes attack range and increases Armor)
3)Create a cutomization system that allows you to customize EVERYTHING about your units (Including collision size)
Combonation system is now this
-Units naturally are Water
--When two units combine they can choose the most extreme of a single thing
1) Extreme attacker-High Attack Speed, High Damage, Splash Damage, high range
2) Extreme Tank- High HP Regen, High Armor, High HP amount, Vampiric attack(maybe thorns)
All Extreme units will have a high movement speed as well.
-THe problem is though.... a Player that does this often will have less units then opponents... and if their opponents figure out the "Obscure combo" that I want to put in (A combo that works against every extreme unit and every unit in general... except the other "Obscure combo" which is just understanding units like they were math.
Ugh.............

-Ranged and Tank

Heroes are so important though for a number of reasons (THey make a game fun cuz its a caster that helps your units more)
1) I don't like the "1 hit kill" spells in Footmen franzy and other games.
2) I don't want them to not be exciting
WHat I'm thinking is
1) Damage spells-CHanneling? (Rain of fire/Life Drain)
2) Auras/Roar/upgrades
3) Counter spells-Counter spell
4) Heal spells-Channelling?
Moonwells-unit healers
Units-Hero Healer
Hero-Win healer
